Guy Martin close to becoming new Top Gear presenter?

BBC reportedly in advanced talks with road racer

Guy Martin could soon be gracing our screens as a new Top Gear presenter.

The BBC are said to be in advanced talks with the road racer to join the show after Jeremy Clarkson was given the boot for punching a producer earlier this year.
Reports also suggest Jodie Kidd and Life On Mars actor Philip Glenister will replace former presenters James May and Richard Hammond, who decided against renewing contracts on BBC Two’s flagship show.
The latest rumours surfaced when Andy Wilman, former executive producer for Top Gear, was overheard discussing the show’s new line-up while having lunch with Jamiroquai singer and petrolhead Jay Kay.
Martin is no stranger to the screen having fronted shows including Speed with Guy Martin, Guy Martin’s Spitfire, The Boat That Guy Built, and others.
