Moscow designer Maksim Burov has taken the popular Koenigsegg supercar and rendered a concept of what he believes their motorcycle should look like (if they ever make one).
The design bears a striking resemblance to the 2014, Lotus C-01, designed by Daniel Simon using a carbon fiber monocoque body shell and manufactured by Kodewa under brand license from Group Lotus.
Similarities aside, there are some notable differences, particularly at the rear. Burov's design routes dual exhaust pipes out beneath the seat, while the C-01 keeps the muffler under the engine and transmission.
Koenigsegg are probably too busy making cars to consider bikes, but with the way this thing looks, we hope more supercar manufacturers try their hand, as long as they pay as much attention to how they ride not just how they look.
