The One Armed Bike Racer Helping Others Get On Track
After serving two tours in Afghanistan, 28 year old Chris Ganley lost his left arm, and almost his life, in a motorbike accident in 2014.
Six months after his accident he got back on his bike and now competes in Thundersport GB. He took third place in his first race. He now races using a modified bike.
But, that wasn't enough for the veteran. Seeing that others were struggling with their injuries he decided to make it his personal mission to help other people overcome their injuries or disabilities so they can ride and race motorbikes too.
What a legend.
