I think it's safe to say we are all pretty impressed with the new Suzuki GSX-R1000, in fact we loved it. You can see for yourself in our first ride report:
The new GSX-R1000 is a brilliant machine and a serious track weapon, but for most of us I think, that massive end can needs to go, and the specialists at Yoshimura have you covered with their list of 2017 aftermarket parts, which are now officially available.
Your first option for replacing that bulky stock unit is the Alpha T Street Series slip-on; available in Works Finish stainless steel or titanium with a carbon fibre heat shield. The new Alpha T removes half the weight of the big bulky stock unit, and really makes the bike sing. Just listen to it:
For the serious track racer though, there's also the Alpha T Race Series. Also available in Works Finish stainless or titanium configurations, the Race Series increases performance dramatically across the power and torque spectrum. And of course provides significant weight savings.
Also available now are Works Edition Case Savers, Works Edition Engine Plug Kits, new Bar End Kits, and a precision fit Fender Eliminator kit to make the GSX even sleeker.

The Street Rod is a revised addition to Harley's smaller capacity line up that opened with the Street 750 back in 2014.
Using a new High Output Revolution 750cc engine, Harley claims the new bike ups horsepower by 18% with 8% more torque than the standard Revolution X750. That's via a larger airbox pushing into a new dual-throttle body, revised cylinder heads, new high-lift camshafts and a higher volume muffler.
It should be good for about 64bhp at the rear tire and about 47 lb-ft of torque. Peak power now arrives at 8750rpm and peak torque at 4000rpm. Nothing to scream home about, but for Harley fans, it's a welcome addition. The Street Rod, as the name suggests is designed with town riding in mind.
Front and rear 17in wheels accompanied by 43mm upside down forks at the front and dual shock absorbers with external reservoirs at the rear give it a little more lean angle. H-D claims 37.3 degrees to the right and 40.2 degrees to the left instead of 28.5 degrees either direction.
The seat height has also been raised to 765mm, compared to the 709mm of the Street 750, making it that little less cramped for taller riders. The Street Rod starts at £6745 for the Vivid Black colour scheme. It also comes in Charcoal Denim and Olive Gold.

Suzuki's A2 license ready GSX250R will be coming to dealers with a RRP of £4,299.
The 248cc parallel-twin engine has been designed with low and midrange power in mind, to give it a punchy and versatile character.
Bore, stroke and compression ratio are the same as the GW250’s engine, but Suzuki have upped power and torque slightly to 24.7 hp at 8000 rpm and torque: 17.3 lb-ft. at 6500 rpm.
The GSX250R weighs in at around 177kg, about 5kg less than the GW250. Suspension is handled by a 37mm KYB telescopic fork and adjustable rear shock, while braking is provided by a two-piston Nissin caliper gripping a single 290mm disc up front and a single-piston caliper with 240mm disc at the rear.
The styling is definitely baby GSX-R, to give it sporty credentials. Other features include an LCD multi-function display, 31.1-inch seat height.
Available in black, Suzuki has also announced a version dressed in Suzuki’s eye-catching MotoGP livery, which will retail for £4,399 when units arrive in authorised Suzuki dealerships in April.
